let me take you to a time
when simple things were good
like playing tag or riding bikes
walking thru the neighborhood

when going to your Grandma's house
was more than just a chore
the smell of cookies baking there
always met you at the door

remember how it was to feel
the thought of your first kiss
the hours of preparation time
being wrapped up in pure bliss

oh, how i'd like to go back
to the days when i was young
the hours of simply playing games
being silly, just having fun

but now, i'm in adulthood
from here, it's all uphill
instead of playing games and such
i go to work and pay the bills!!!

yes, I wish I could go back for the fun stuff, the rest of it......forget it LOL growing up is hard. Being a grown up is too....sigh, can't win LOL
