I hid like a child
from the eyes of evil
It caught me off guard
Ripping my innocence
then I claimed God
Indescribable
inconceivable
Now I can't deny
evil lurks
in masks.

I hid like a child

The vulnerability I felt during those first few days felt very childlike. The need for comfort, reassurance...much of which I found here in this forum. Good write, walker.
