You lie by my side, with a touch of softness,
        and it is just one of,
                your names that I know…
Tenderness is another, that I have seen,
        it shows in your face,
                like a halo that’s aglow…

These are not the only, thoughts in my mind,
        I also see eyes, the color of topaz,
                and they are stunning…
Sparkling like diamonds, but the truest of blue,
        staring silently into mine,
                so very abducting…

It’s not your names, that’s so precious to me,
        nor the looks you present,
                it doesn’t matter…
For I see a woman, precious as a newborn,
        you give all to me,
                and have made me your lover…

There is really only one thing, that I could ask,
        perhaps I’m being selfish,
                with this request…
But it’s only to stay alive, one day less than you,
        for I would then be at peace,
                and I could finally rest…
