There is an emptiness I carry
it burns down deep in my heart,
it comes from the pain of knowing
that this distance keeps us apart.

I now live with this daily sorrow
of knowing you're out there somewhere,
of knowing how much that you feel
of knowing how much that you care.

I've fallen in so deeply
and I don't know what to do,
my heart is being ripped apart
'cuz of the feelings I have for you.

There is so much your willing to offer
Damn you are just so far away
I can't reach out and touch you
I can NOT hold you every day.

This is just so frustrating to me
I just wished that you lived near,
but baby please don't ever forget
that you have my heart my dear.

Another time, another place
I wish that this could be,
a seemingly impossible situation
but you've already become a part of me.

If I could but only understand
why things keeep happening to me this way,
I keep dreaming that tomorrow
will finally bring a happier day.

Now this has just become so complicated
between two paths I now must choose,
the total irony of it is
either choice made~SOMEHOW I STILL LOSE!

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Wow, your ramblings are so strong and true . I find the best way to write is to ramble on . It's lovely . I know what you mean, sometimes it does seem like you can't win . But just as long as you keep on trying, it will get better - trust me . And for gods sake don't stop writting, it's to beutiful to deny the world from seeing it .
