No rules in dreams
Smiling with a frown
Frowning with a smile
Upside down and backwards

Running red changing lights
Shades of green stops
No rhyme or reason
Doing as you wish

Wishing you had done
Opposite of blue yesterday
Controlling things that end
Living in sleepy cocoon

Wrapped up in nothing
Still you belong there
Visions of sweetness wanted
Yet leaving you everytime

Caressed by unknown love
Becoming what you desire
Will she return again
Does it really matter

Can't hold her anyway
Lovely dream turned nightmare
Giving less than cruelty
Despised by me again

Then falling without body
Frightened but no pain
More hurt when eyes open
Awakened to living reality

Robert,
There you are. I have heard so much about you, sir! But this is a fine introduction. Fine job I must say.

yeesh, sounds like some of my dreams. poems can be so criptic at times... is this about the loss of a relative or perhaps someone even closer through death? do tell, because i love understanding what i've read with clarity, no better person to ask than the author. enjoyed the flow and imagery, however.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Robert, I couldn't help but cry reading this poem, for I know these feelings ever too well, and I want ever so much to fall in love, and I feel no one would ever want a strange sad sparrow in their embrace. (sad sigh) I know these bitter feelings ever so well, and deep down I believe you will again wake up from a dream with love by your side. (big hugggsssss) You deserve the greatest love you could ever wish for, sweet friend, I have faith in you! (sigh) God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet brother, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
