In Anger Too tired am I, of this game of compete. Tomorrow's forever away. Played out am I, as more rain seems to fall, until drowning in sorrow this day. No writing romance, no feelings intense no wantings, no sharings in vent. Dragging my life from morning 'til night, I am angry and showing intent. Jokes about drinking and ads about same, if only "they" had to deal with the everyday cost of a life losing will and the ending of all that is real. Can't end this torment, goes on it does as steps towards tomorrow, they wind. In circles go I, in searching the calm, still reaching but out of my mind. I write for myself, and I write to just feel in hopes to surrender this pain. But time after time, when I think I'm ahead, I'm defeated by actions again. The senses I need, the strength I once held, this me isn't someone to love. She's ruthless now faced, when mirrored to see and feeling unworthy of. In anger I feel and write on this eve and at times think that nothing expressed can ever embrace the resentment I feel as I dwell in a life, mine, distressed. "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |

I'm not in too good shape this evening, but honey, you certainly can end torment. Simply make a choice....don't allow anger or torment in your life, it's far too precious....far too precious. Kathleen |

You're no nut, you've a rut in the gut and I know the feeling. |

thank you all..and Zinsser..I shall never recover from this...a lifetime lost because of someone elses habit not mine. My only addiction was believing he could stop what he started and get back what we once had. |

This is very good. Thank you for sharing it. I know how it feels to live with anger. I've been trying to get rid of mine for a long time. |

Wynter, Your write is excellent. But do not let the heavy cover the good. We really don't know the future. I'm sure there is good just aroud the cornor. *L* Sy |

Maureen, go walk around the outside of your gorgeous home and look at it with "new" eyes. Then, sit in your rocking chair, on the porch, and close your eyes and "see" your fabulous Victorian in your mind's eye. Remember all you have put into your home and what if gives back to you. Finally, put pen to paper and write a short piece about how you feel and share it with us if you will. I look forward to it with gr8 anticipation. |
