Day is over, life is fed
All is quiet, time for bed
So we climb the magic stairway to ‘Our’ place...
Only candles we allow
as we whisper love’s sweet vow
Kisses softly shared within a warm embrace...

You Are Me, and I Am You
We share souls as lovers do
To be forever bonded, night or day...
Love has spun her web, it seems
in our bed of hopes and dreams,
as echoes of our music softly plays...

And no matter what’s outside,
under cover, laugh and hide
Into each other’s arms we both can run...
Life continues, let it be
In the end the world will see
You Are Me, I Am You,
We Are One...

The road goes on forever, the stories never end, and people are the same the world over!

This is what everyone wants to find. That one person you can run away and hide with, and know everything will be ok as long as they're together. Wonderful write, greatly enjoyed.

And I have to agree... life is fed.. great line.

Hello in sunny (?) England! In case you miss Alaska, it's 9 AM and the sun is just now trying to peek over the edge of the horizon...as if you didn't already know that. Haha. Don't forget to sit by the Thames and read and write some poetry. And of course, sing, sing, sing.
Sounds like a nice cozy retreat you have there.
