Lonliness burned in her strong gypsy heart, and anger at life’s circumstance The vows that once bound her were now torn apart, She would forever endeavor to learn a new dance... Her dance had begun long before she had heard his whisper of love on the wire The stage had been set, Fate had written his words, they would forever endeavor to rekindle her fire... Nine thousand miles is forever to most, but not to a gypsy in love With her past in a suitcase, a silver bird as her host, She endeavored forever to soar high above... With each passing mile, she could feel waking life, ‘til the moment to meet was at hand And his smile revealed all to his new gypsy wife Her forever endeavor was as Fate had planned... This tale is not over, it is just at the start In reality, it was I who met chance So, now I can tell you to follow your heart You can rise above ALL circumstance... if you forever endeavor just to do your own dance! The road goes on forever, the stories never end, and people are the same the world over! |
