Between the Lines

And From the Files...1

The weekend is here,
the chill has set in,
forcing a furnaced heat
to rise and cling, hopefully
to warm my thoughts for tomorrow,
as today has been of lost cause.

*~*
Recapturing the past, I file through titles
trailing thoughts of unfolding and waiting,
wondering...what is love?
White lies ahead, in yesterdays find,
the true colors surrendering
somewhere into tomorrow.
I don't have to look far to find the feelings,
the sustenance needed day after day,
held between lines.

As I fight the fight in anger, I cherish
my mourning of kisses, the fragments of time
and emotional ties that are for only you.
I have tried to explain I am not a fairy tale...
although in the mist of dreams, I touch this life
in silent truth of simple love.
All I have to share is a smile from these lips,
that fringed on heart-words, waiting with promises
that were never enough because ...
they were just thoughts spacing by.

The attraction of you spellbound me to YOU-thoughts,
left me naked in today's tomorrows.
Is it worth wondering why I treasure keep,
replacing the actual bitter taste with a seasoned
echo of the night? I'm guilty,
losing that feeling in morning fog,
beveled thoughts wasting words,
a picture framing my life frozen in want,
motionless, cold...loneliness,
mirroring the old.

~Wynter

*~* made from words of titles
of the last few months poems of mine.

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

Nicely done, well put!!
I see the moment has not come to reveal
your tomorrows ..., I wish you a swift and happy response soon.
Be well, your "will" is not yet taken!!

a very emotional write for you I imagine.
Very sad and very reflective.

Clever is your middle name!

It gives me inspiration to try one of my own, to get my pen moving again

Music, tonal clear & pure,
Caresses the harshest of curves.

Noah...I am no longer looking for love...but thank you...this was an exercise in using the titles of the past two months of my poems...just to see if they would make sense. *S

Nancy~thank you..not too unique..but interesting how my titles all fell into an easy sequence *s

Magnus..that was  a nice thing to   write..thank you..made my evening

SEA ..glad you enjoyed it. I think others have used titles before..*s

ctowen...thank you ...I think my moments are done now..but I can live with it. You are too cute..my "will" is pretty  much gone now...I see you recall my other poem..thank you.

Connie...that line was from another of my poems and titles thank you for reading.e... as are most of them in this write....
beautiful

Kay...Well everything I write is emotional..so I have been told *s
And yes, this one was reflective.

chansondegeste...Wynter Clever Bliss...doesn't have the same ring to it..does it..*s  thanks Chanson...hugsssss
Try one you may like it ..I think you have done so before elsewhere.

Martie...yes sometimes I need to do that kick myself *s..it is a  good way. I was just looking over my poems on my computer and thought the titles would fall into place easily so that's what I did. I really never lose my muse. It sometimes is too mean even for me to use.Thank you. *s
