If I was born again
I wonder what I would be
a dog, a lion, a bird
or a mixture of all three

If I could turn back time
I wonder what I would do
stop wars, stop hunger, stop illness
or change what I said to you

If I could cast a wish
I wonder what it would be
a wish for wealth,
a wish for love
or wish for another three

If I could sing a song
I'd sing one of the blues
I'd sing so loud with passion
right in front of you

If I could fall in love
then that would be so right
as second by second I'd say
"I love you" all through the night
