Stepping through crisp shadows twitching ears against pestering flies stretching my neck to whatever tastes good I hear footsteps approaching near nothing to smell no movement I sense until suddenly I see a man appearing through the moonlit trees we soon become two pairs of eyes meeting by chance in the stillness of the wild two hearts beating in the silence we are one... *~coco~*  |

At first the subject of your poem drew me to believe it to be some animal, and being a lover of four legged creatures, I had thought a horse... glad to see it was a deer.... |

Lady, thank you for commenting I too am an animal lover four legged of course  MidniteSun, something about the wilderness just makes one ponder many a thing and the innocence of a deer is intriguing2me...
