Listening to every heart

Noting the Day

slow the sun has raised on high
noontime shall be soon
nourishment I bring to thee
and with this feast, a boon
for in this gaze, across the field
toward the horizon’s beckon
I cherish quiet moments with you
hold fast each and every second
