I was a house swept clean & abandoned my heart's memories & dearest hopes lay stifled beneath ornate coverings gathering dust like the earth, love had gone into hibernation praying for an early summer... I was both dead & alive watching through windows seeing nothing my own reflection so foreign I could not relate to the image nor the eyes I was a house abandoned swept clean & waiting praying for summer & finally it has arrived... ~Tier 11/01 |

Yes...Summer...time for passion to heat the fires of our hearts...and to allow love to return again. |

![]() (sigh) Oh my gosh, this poem reminded me of my grandparent's house and the comeliness in the summer! (smiles) I know just how you feel, and a lovely spring cleaning is like the homecoming! (big hugggssssss) I love it! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet R.T, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

I was both dead & alive watching through windows seeing nothing my own reflection so foreign I could not relate to the image nor the eyes I know this feeling so well. Also, hoping for an early spring, which it felt like here today. Was almost tempted to turn all my calenders to April and see just how long I could fool myself. Great write, Tier. |

I would have to agree with Sven ... when things get that stale, for what ever reason, its time for something fresh.Perhaps planting something near the front door would be uplifting .... and indoor plants like ivy's give an "endless" effect. The house is only the shell, its what you have inside that makes it home. |
