Mistletoe Angel told me about these… Rictameters I believe. The syllable count goes 2-4-6-8-6-4-2. I’m not sure if they have to rhyme or not.. and I’m not sure if this is correct …lol.. but I tried

Without You

I know
That without you
My heart would cease to beat
My cold soul would be so empty
I would never be whole
Without your soft
Warm love.

Nicely done, Tara. Only one problem. My heater quit on me yesterday and now I'm having to sleep in the cold until central heat can be put in. Your poem just helped remind me of how cold I'll be. LOL!

Write some more of these. I love 'em.

The syllables code is first line 5 second line 7 third line 5. I'm sure you could do it
