One More Yesterday ~*Marge Tindal*~  Lord, before you call me home give me one more yesterday One more chance to leave a smile where my heart has played Just another trip across the avenue of a loving friend So that when I am gone they can softly gather me in Let my gentle spirit return to lift them when I'm not here Lord, just one more yesterday to gather in their tears A chance to write another memory on hearts I must leave behind Grant me one more yesterday if you would be so kind Memories of kindness left from my heart to another Then Lord I am ready to step into forever ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Memories of kindness left from my heart to another Ahhh, Marge, though, I know, sweet keeper, that you don't keep tab, but don't ever think all those kindesses of yours aren't engraved in all those hearts out there. This is so beautiful that it drew me to PIP to reply when I was SUPPOSED to only be taking a 10 minute break from my apartment hunting miseries. *G* (I guess I owe you BIG time? *G*) Sweet lady, I hope your days left on this earth are many... but your kindnesses will endure forever.
