What Patriotism means to me:

Patriotism has a unique definition
in America today:
a society comprised of many cultures,
with a deep-seeded sense of loyalty to our country.

Our patriotic strength comes
from our ability to unify:
we fiercely stand by our belief in liberty,
knowing that freedom is a privilege
that must be collectively protected.

What does patriotism mean to YOU?

good question.... and I am sure you will get a variety of answers....

mine...is a personal thing...one I can not share in words, because they are too easily misunderstood...

It is the air I breathe....without patriotism, I could not even begin to count what I would have lost...having it means so much...not having ever known it, one would not realize....

I hope the young take a moment to virtually see what it is that they hold so casually....
