Come closer
I'm about to die
The lights are about to dim
...On the Big Picture

Here come the credits
Before the movie hits
Just to let you know
The ending must be quick

A scratch on the screen
So the film must be flipped
The Big Picture doesn't mean
My life must have a script

Fade into the streets
Into your homes
And where you meet

But remember this...
It was the scratch
on the screen
all along

WALT! Where have you been? Bad bad poetry man! LOL! I miss your work.   This was interesting to read so far. I'm still considering it though...and what I got out of it. I wanted you to know I read it. Its making me think, and I need to read it a few more times. I like the scratch on the screen part very very much!

Wonderfully introspective piece Walt. Indeed, the scratch on the screen can be viewed from many angles. Much enjoyed this refreshing vantage on life.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Walt wanted me to boost this up so the Godfather MIDI could help explain the Brando tone of the poem.

The Godfather? Nice touch....scratch on the screen.....hmmm so do we get a sequel? As long as there are no horse heads in bed with us! You make me read! I love it.

Regina
