A Midnight Walk

In the chambers of never be
Hear the clank and clamor of me
For ‘tis truth, my spirit remains
It is as was said in creped refrain

I will come for you again
In the never where of then

As my bony fingers curl
Darkened shadows creep unfurled
To tangle you in fears so deep
For naught this night will you find sleep

For I have come to you again
In the never where of then

So bid this night a fond adieu
As in the shadows I’ll find you
Nevermore shall you roam
Nor ever see your loving home

As I have come for you again
In the never where of then
For lo the midnight hour is nigh
Now quick tell all a swift good bye!

Yikes! I am going to have nightmares over this one let me tell you. Very spooooky write, but excellent now I will need raspberry tea before bed tonight!
