Promise me "us" tomorrow
or I shall refuse to sleep
a constant careful vigilance
o'er you tonight, I'll keep

Promise me "us" forever
or I'll never again know night
for rest will only plunder
the times I could hold you tight

Promise me an eternity
of love wrapped up with you
your lips, your arms, your warmth
facing everyday a new...

Promise me...
