Potpouri of Flower FIlled Feelings

The Shores of Alone

Sometimes she feels rosy, blush of pink, unfolding petals
Others, a darkened violet, weeping late into the night.
Today she touches lillies in her mind, beauiful sad
Tomorrow, perhaps Carnations, with hope within her sight

Lilacs misty fragrance filling thoughts with childhood remains
Gardenia dreams soft scented, pass through gently now and then
Flourishing Orchid she can be, when given half a chance
Lately lavender feels better, more of a soothing friend.

well, this is a little flowery for a guy, but it's nice poetry, love those images and phrasing
