Last Night AMK October 26 2001 Sunshine streams through window bright Darkness of night gives way to light Birds are singing in frosty air Trees now changing will soon be bare Stumbling over to the coffee pot I replay memories of last night in my mind Last night was nothing short of pure magic As though someone for a moment stopped time Your bared your heart I gave you my soul You broke through the chains We made each other whole Passion gave way to love Friendship turned into much more The smile I could hear in your voice Gave wings to my heart, and made me soar We had a beautiful night indeed I pray that this is just the beginning Of a path that is meant to be And of a love that is never-ending "I could kiss you in |
