Strolling down a sand covered road, listening to crashing waves.
The call of birds echoing that dinner has arrived once again.
Laughter of a child, intermixed with shrieks of joy.
A distant bell tolling a new day, calling love to the dunes.

Two lovers, filled with passion and sexual energy walk away.
Away from the crowds, the scrutiny of eyes, in search of a moment.
Trying desperately to escape into their own world of passion.
Hurrying ever faster as the energies of their love flows within.

Dropping, retrieving, giggling as they run, eyes shining a familiar glimmer.
Desperate for a moment to become one, to express sighs, to love.
Hunger only of the tenderness of an embrace, a kiss shared.
Breathlessly in love, lusting for a timeless dance of two souls.

The warmth of a blanket covering skins soft, hiding a touch.
A futile attempt to keep invading granules of sand away.
Brushing tears of joy from each face, tasting a torrid kiss.
Eyes closed against the light of day, seeing only through touches.

Touches shared after moments of bliss, sleepiness invading minds.
Dozing as one while dreams float with the clouds above.
Two minds share contentment and joy, love grows strong.
A pair of shadows depart the dunes, passions sated.

Universal love enjoyed in nature’s arms as sands cover a trail.

It's freezing up here in the great white north!     So I'll come along to your fantasy beach anyday!  Sounds much much warmer there...in more ways than one.
Good write Magnus.  ~warm hugs, Nancy~

Thanx Nancy....that is why this southern boy
stayed south....I don't have to flap my wings
and head south for the winter...

Wanda....even us down south types are
feeling some of your cold air right now.
Not exactly weather to take a dip in...
though it would still be a nice day to
go to the beach and snuggle next to a warm
fire while roasting corn and boiling a
bucket of clams, crab and oysters.....
Now I am getting hungry....

*sigh* all the things one needs to share a time of total romance. Well done, Magnus. As usual your poem flows softly with a feeling of love and sensuality. *sigh* I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Thanx James...tis fun to be near the ocean.
Except when the hurricans come romping thru.
