Earth 3rd Rock from the sun!!

Did you hug your children today?
Or rush them out the door to play?
Did you tell them they are loved?
Even through the push and shove?
Did you see them off to school?
Teach them the golden rule?
Did you teach them how to pray?
And did you hear what they had to say?
Did you listen to their dreams?
Silent all their screams?
Did you ease all of their fears?
And wipe away all of their tears?
Did you hug your kids to day?
Or rush them out the door to play?
Will you tuck them in tonight?
Never let them leave your sight?
Will you hug your kids when they awake?
I pray you will for our futures at stake....

Good thinking, Julie Ann. I'm lucky to be able to homeschool my teenager, so she only goes out that door for fun or walkin' the dog. Thanks for the reminder though, some days I forget to say I love you.

All of you are so kind...it was very hard for me to write this and even harder for me to read it....My kids are currenetly living over seas with their Dad, He is in the service....it is so hard being away from them and not knowing what the future is....you never know how precious time is until it is gone...thank you all for your kind replies....J
