There Comes A Time

There comes a time when things must change
We have to let one another go
Though the journey may be hard and painful
Just let your emotions flow

Love has many hues like a rainbow
It changes sometimes into something more
Or it can change into a deep friendship
As you leave love's door

There comes a time when something must end
That doesn't mean it's forever gone
The memories it can bring you are always cherished
Like a familiar melody to a song

Love changes like the passing of a season
Sometimes it can bloom again the next year
When you put a closure to something
You know it's complete, as you watch the falling of your last solitary tear

Such a love as this
Has a friendship embedded deep inside
It's such a moment like this
That you know you can no longer hide

So just do what you must
Never shut the door on a friend who is true
For lovers may come and go
But, a friend is forever true

"I could kiss you in
the rain forever.
Turn all of your pain to pleasure
Fill up your days with
sunlight, make the
passion last every night"

AS hard as it was to let my ex boyfriend go, I'm very thankful for the fact that we could remain friends. That will always make all the pain of letting the romantic love go worth it, to deepen the friendship love.

This was beautiful. May I copy it? I'd like to give it to a friend. My very first friend I've ever had in my life and I'm about to lose her. Not from my heart but she is moving and we won't see each other any more. Unfortunately, things do change.
