Comes the Day

There will come a day when our paths will cross
I will at last be found and never more be lost
When in my welcome home I shall forever be
When I come to rest and reside in the arms of thee

I shall be your warm sunshine, that which makes you smile
You shall be my loving man, making everything worthwhile
There will be no yesterdays, just tomorrow’s memories
For us to live in purest joy, while we embrace in we

Then in the giving of our gifts of love and pure devotion
We shall traverse together through each and every emotion
To those secret places known just by the two of us
Where we reveal a little more as we delve into this trust

For I want you to know the all of me, my places of delight
Whether you visit them by dawn of day, or in the dark of night
I want you to touch and feel the satin of my skin
I want you to fathom sweet the depths of my within

And what I want from you, my love, is your body next to mine
Making all my dreams come true, a reality in time
For there is never a moment that I take a breath to me
That you do not reside in the deepest part…you see

When all is done and we lay, sated and sublime
Shy looks shall exchange, blue eyes twinkling in mine
With a curve of lip, a smile, a beguiling come hither plea…
We will again embrace, and wrap ourselves in we….

For in your love, I now confide
I'll be your forever, by your side

I melted the first time I read this.  I don't remember my response but it should have been somewhere along the lines of WOW!  BRAVA!  AUTHOR!      AUTHOR!

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Beautiful words of the soul's longing for its other half....Speaks for many, I know!
I wish we had a melting heart icon for this one!

So much love, desire and devotion to another.
The desire to share all that you have.  To
give your all.  And to want to do it over
and over again.  Beautiful write...
