(actually this is more like middle of the night coffee-I have forgotten how to sleep)

He's a bit like cappuccino
So warm and soothing to the soul
or sometimes with taste of bitter
scalding coffee, still mornings' whole.

He can be an expresso too
somewhat harsh and extremely strong
but very satisfying yet
despite the flavor slightly wrong.

Cafe au lait without sugar
can still be something that you need
but with the extra sweetness there
it serves for so much more than feed.

I believe this is heaven to no one else but me, and I will defend it as long as I'm left here to linger in silence...Sara McLachlan

Morning Sandra. Great metaphor here, with such meaning behind. Loving this as I drink my black coffee with no sugar (hey, I'm already sweet enough!! )

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Forgotten how to sleep, maybe want to try decaf.  Then again, coffee without caffeine...what's the point.  Really liked this.
