The song played softly
And took me by surprise
I was struck with the vision
Of your enchanting eyes

I was taken to the moment
I first heard this sweet refrain
And was lost to the memory
Of us dancing in the rain

Soaking wet
But too in love to care
If there was anyone else in the world
I simply was not aware

Every word was perfect
With a magical melody
I swear I could feel
You melting into me

And just like that the song was over
I was brought back to my reality
With a wistful remember
Of my missed destiny

SEA, This is just sooo beautiful.  One of my favourite things to do... dancing in the rain.

Susan,

you wrote my heart with this one
sweet friend. You always write with
such amazing honestly and emotion...
this was beautiful even though the end
was achingly sad. take care sweet poetress
and may you find your true "destiny".
that is my wish for you!
take care.

SEA,
I know some songs like that about moments very much like that and feelings you express like that. It's a good thing you write like this because I can't get those things on paper without your work. Thanks. lc
