If you only knew
What I feel for you
A passion so deep
A love so strong

How I have loved you for so long
But you've taken my heart
And torn it apart
Like the fragile piece of red tissue
That wraps the bouquet of flowers
You never gave me on Valentine's Day

My heart is crumpled
You've taken my love
And thrown it away
I gave you my soul
You took it from me
And left only a hole

All I wanted was you;
To love me in return
To hold me close
To kiss my tears
To say you loved me too

You have caused me great pain
I will forgive you, what else can I do?
But my love for you
Will never ever be the same
It was my life you toyed with
It wasn't a game

Very nicely done. Full of much emotion and honesty from the heart. Poetry is a great way to express those feelings and purge them I believe.
