When you love someone
Make sure you tell them how you feel
For the chance your waiting for may pass you by
And the moment, Time may steal

When you love someone
Make sure you make each moment last
If you're given a second chance
Don't be consumed with what lies in the past

When you love someone
And I mean truly love them with all you are
Don't be afraid to say the words
To make that wish on the falling star

Life is full of risks and chances
Love can be wonderful and sweet
But sometimes no matter how hard you try
Love can leave you feeling sometimes in defeat

But when you love someone
Love them with your heart and soul
Tell them how special they are
That they make you complete and whole

And for those of you out there
Who are loving the same person again
This time take it slower, talk more
You never know it might work...love is not a game to win

Some of us still love the same person
We may have pretended to fall out
Make sure you tell that person how you feel
Don't fear...have no doubt

For when you love someone
There's only one way to find out if they love you too
And that's by saying those three special words
I LOVE YOU...

and yet there is always the feeling of a gamble, no? I LOVE THIS...and keep playing with your poetry, for it is not a game to win either...just find the purest expression of your heart and there you have it. HUGS, m'love.

Amy, So true are your thoughts. If only we could go through life remembering to reach over and whisper those three sweet words it could have changed alot of what we see in front of us today.
