 Fairy Dance By: Noah Eaton 6/26/01 Reach out to a rainbow and begin to make the climb Over the rainbow we will go, into the prism skies Sit back and relax and we will slide Deep into the enchanted kingdom of the fairies under the starlight Can you hear the windchimes jingle behind the waterfalls? And high in the trees where these fairies hide? Can you see the colors of the night sway in the soft evening breeze? Walk up slowly now, these pixies are a little shy To and fro they go, hiding here, hiding there Turn around, there's one behind you, oops, now it's gone Stand really still, and these fairies will come out to play Dancing out from the shadows to sing their magic song Quickly they hop upon the lilypads, swiftly like bees Casting rainbows through the night, stroked softly like violins Making music in the night, tapping the stars like piano keys Spreading their golden glitter in the soft evening wind They wish to play hide and seek You are invited to play with them anytime But keep your eyes peeled, they are quite sneaky Before you know it, they all may pass you by Dream on into fairyland, where all our stories come true And soon, who knows, you may find yourself with these darlings Now cuddle up close, and I will weave another fantasy to you Dancing with the gypsy flies beside the star stream... |
