For Only You
For only you, I'd sing a song,
of shadows reaching into night.
Emotions playing background sounds,
as arms reach out to hold you tight.

Your words, though sad, bring tears within.
I cry each memory, each touching feel.
While I'm awake, I join in song,
awaiting 'til next time is real.

For only you, I give my heart
and trust to you my confidence.
For you possess belief in me
and always come to my defense.

Your openness, I treasure so
I watch your blues, they show intent.
I smile for you and only you.
You hold my heart in pure content.

For only you I'm coloured, soft
and swirled within your mysted reign.
I'd sing, a melody of love
and give to you, mine, each refrain.

~Wynter

Can we sing a duet?

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
