Dark shadows have covered my eyes like heavy curtains in a darkened room The world mourns in unison So much distance between our countries but our hearts remain joined in this time of need The rest of the world embraces you as we try and make sense of all this unbelievable horror We feel your pain We share your grief As we watch the news in disbelief Our world forever changed as we take a step back in time to the days of war that some of us only heard about Too much carnage and loss of life to comprehend How on earth do we explain this to our children whose innocence is once again being eaten away as they witness the darker side of humanity Let's hope that their children never have to witness such atrocities and are afforded the freedom and peace that we all crave for Suetang |

Yes, I weep for the children too. They deserve a better world. |
