Listening to every heart

Palette Perfect

mushroomed beige
loom my beginnings, exposed
in simple nudity,  you see me
situated before you,

living awaits me
in color
jeweled pigments soon
adorn me
in spots and dots of
crimson
and cadmium lemon

streams of
manganese violet
silked with ultramarine blue
shall swath
my shoulders, while

cobalt teal and
antwerp blue titivate
my curves

windsor emerald shall
elevate status, as other tints
and blushes, shades and
traces come to call,

in their blendings and swirls
without regard of line
or context, paying no heed

soon, soon, my once pale
countenance is but a
congealed artifice

and naivety vanished

in black

perhaps it is best if I were
to stay in a state
of nudity by remaining
mushroom beige,
allowing you alone
to blush me
your favorite shade of
red

*grin* who would not want to take this and cover it with colors of their own passions. Sunshine you have created a sensual delight of exotic colors to please the senses.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Squeeze me out I’m the black,
Darken and shading when you need,
Covering just a bit where colors lack
You painted a fine poem indeed

Blushing with beige beginnings,
rainbows splashing about,
your poem is so good,
it makes me want to shout!
In technicolor if that's possible,
or is that techni-audio?

Karilea~
And in one brush of verse ...
you touched both the artist and the poet in me~

Thank you ... it's a gem~

This strangely reminded me of "wish me a rainbow, wish me a star", and it felt good!

Karilea - This poem was about painting?  Painting?  I thought it was about your latest trip to the tatoo parlor!  Geesh.  It is still a good poem, but now I've gotta read it again to get the 'appropriate' mental images - lol.

This is a very 'visual' piece - That makes it a special treat for your reader...

I liked it every bit as much as the rest have...
