Midnight's  Garden

Through the closing door of a setting sun
Beyond never more, the reach of darkness
Lies a hidden view of fantasies spun
A land of dreams due those who are dreamless

Moments spring flowers in rows of Starlight
Surrounding towers of fog-thick hedges
As centered fountains of youthful Moonlight
Cascade the mountains at Garden's edges

This where thoughts allure, set free from the mind
Just outside the door as Midnight bells chime
Memories flourish as the soul will find
The pain and anguish of love throughout time

Behold its beauty for those close are few
As night openly closes time for you
