For Laughing Out Loud ~*Marge Tindal*~ Trying to think of just what I could write upon this day Suddenly I had a memory that said what I wanted to say~ It happened o' so long ago you'd think one would forget But as I burst out in gales of laughter you'll know I haven't yet~ The night was Halloween the year -who counts those things ? 'Big Sister' dressed you up in rags and painted your hair braids green ! Well that was not enough you see so 'Big Sis' proceed to paint each one with food coloring in the loveliest of RAINBOW hues~ Many 'Trick Or Treats' later a shampoo before bed Oh, my gosh, don't tell Mom but, you've got a banty-colored head ! Whew ! I think I got my fanny painted, at least as red as my face And two applications of Marchand's later you were no longer a family disgrace !  *Happy Birthday with love, Nedra Lynn* ~You grew up okay, in spite of it~ October 19, 2001 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

LOL! Brings back memories of my sister and some of our tricks. We were bad. Very bad. One of our specialties was making "cupcakes" for our neighbor. Made up of snails, and doggie doo things. *coughing in remembrance*. Of course they were not eaten. It only made it as far as the fence. Bad... very bad.  Hope your sis had a nice birthday. Deb |

 (smiles) Oh Marge, this is sooooooo beautiful and filled with cheer and sweet memories! (big hugggssssss) I know just how that is; my cousin dyed his hair blue and when he jumped in a swimming pool it turned turquoise! Your sister shares a birthday with my sister... who was born on our mother's birthday! *S* So please tell Nedra Happy Birthday for me... I'm sure she somehow escaped my family. *G* And the next time my sister nags me over some (imagined, of course *G*) grief I gave her, I'll show her this and remind her it could have been worse! LOL. Marge - Thankyou for bringing me memories of my own. My "big sister" and I still manage to get into trouble.....just "tiny trouble." Not from our parents who have since passed over, but from our spouses who give in to our innocent giggles and forget about the reprimand. Be well sweet lady. Nedra was of flaxen-blonde hair ... I never realized that food-coloring wouldn't wash out~ LOL ~ Truthfully ? When I combed her hair ... I thought it was beautiful in it's array of colors~ Today ... it's Vogue ... then it wasn't ! ! Oh Marge!! This is too funny!! It reminded me of the time I dyed my sister's hair green...by accident, she was 16 at the time...oh hahahaaa!! She could only go out in the NIGHT SHADE for awhile. (didn't want to say her name out loud!)  Yes,,,we still get into messes even though we are probably past the age where most people think we should.
