My muse inspired pen went dry before all the tears had left my eye, so I quietly snuck back in here for warm shelter from fear, for I fear the tears again will take over my night. And I stay up 'till dawn silently watching for my rainbow dancing lights... but they haven't been in this northern sky since so many stolen hearts waved goodbye. Yet I know someday they will dance again, and the next time those souls will be saying "Hi" For in the sky, as in this board, I see no fear....not in here, nor amongst the twinkling stars and feathery clouds. The stars will be here for me tomorrow, just as they have always been. And this loving group will be here too. And the black-capped chickadees will keep singing, and the raucous ranting raven will still fly high, and the pure white snow will soon fall again, just as the fiery golden leaves have fallen today. And I know in my heart that all those stolen souls are a mere heartbeat away. And I believe I can touch them when I pray. So with words of love I pray each day, and that way their dreams are here to stay. And may the loved ones they left behind be comforted each time they look to the sky for their very own special "Hi" |

"And the black-capped chickadees will keep singing, and the raucous ranting raven will still fly high, and the pure white snow will soon fall again, just as the fiery golden leaves have fallen today." This right here is what I love about reading. It's not just reading, it's traveling! Awesome imagery, wonderful thoughts, excellent message! Great write! I loved this especially: And the black-capped chickadees will keep singing, and the raucous ranting raven will still fly high, and the pure white snow will soon fall again, just as the fiery golden leaves have fallen today. And I know in my heart that all those stolen souls are a mere heartbeat away. Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

Masked Intruder: I'm happy my words enabled you to travel north for a visit. Those birds are really fun to watch. Thanks for your kind words, and for being at this board. Marge: Yes, 'tis time to begin again. Kathry: Hope all is well in the land of the southern cross. Thanks for reading, and for being here with us. Janet Marie: Thanks. There are so many wonderful people at this site who offer kind and loving words. To all who stop to post, read and reflect, this truly is a second home. |

Wow, dg, didn't expect to see this one again. It brought back a flood of memories. Funny, it was only a few short weeks ago, but a lifetime of changes have happened since then. Thanks for reading, and glad to see you here today! |

Larry, thanks. The view of the aurora, the chickadees, the moose...it's all soothing to the eyes. Somehow, even the cold snow warms my heart. Startime, Thanks! I'd like the visions to stay peaceful, but dreaming alone doesn't make it so. |

I loved this and hope you keep us informed of the changes in Nature up there in your neck of the woods as it sounds absolutely spectacular from a resident's point of view. Great job on this. ~*~ Carpe' Diem ~*~ |

Mysteria, thank you. You want the weather report, aurora report, or critter report? Last night we had a short-lived green aurora, dancing around 11pm Alaska time, at outside temp near zero, and only the lynx and the moose moving about in my yard. I have two picture windows, and stay inside most of the time at night to see the action. It's not as exciting that way, but safer. |
