In my veins
I feel the blood
of everyone
who ever died
with defiance
in the eyes
I feel a strength
infused in me
and the weight
of concrete feet--
Misdirected God of lies...

But now it's written--
YOU or me...
and should you find me
on my knees?

I pray forgiveness
for our souls...
as I ponder
roads of gold
with question
of what's meant to be...
I ponder part
of "me" in "we"...

Okay...spare ya the editorial...? grin...with Peace.

Yes...they are in our veins. Ounce for ounce of our dignity. Maybe the concrete feet are coming because we know....now...where we stand.... He that is in you is in me.
