'Tired'

If I were to arise now,
my face would drain of blood
and I’d never rise again.

And if I wipe away these tears,
my eyes would dry of emotion
and I’d never love again.

I've known this feeling...it is most burdensome, and I can only promise, that if you allow it a moment of peace, to accept what is, than it shall be lifted from you...

I have felt this way. If I stopped crying, I truly believed I would forever remain emotionless. But, thankfully I was wrong. Very well written. Chris

I think we all have times in our lives
when we feel as these words have described.
not exactly fun....sometimes hard to over-
come. Thought provoking, to say the least.
