Turtle Dove Minuet By: Noah Eaton 10/10/01 Wend softly in the air, satin angel of my skies You're dear as the apple in Aphrodites' eye To grace is where we will kedge Just dream on, sweet love, in my arms you'll always rest Your rosy cheeks make the robins simper I worship the stars that your soft eyes whimper Your wings paint the precursor to every sunny day Bayadere of the skies, dance in my heart's ballet Let's drink from this rose of plighted love Sweet ladylove, you are the darling I've been always dreaming of Smitten together in the nectar of bona fide You'll always wind round my heart, for all time May the turtle doves fly from the gardens within Dearly beloved I am to you, I share you my devotion You and I are two butterflies, fluttering forever in amour Singing heart's cadenza, echoing as our spirits soar... |

Noah~ This is beautiful...I can't pick out a favourite line! Loved the rhyme and flow and the romantic images you've incorporated. Hugs, ~Krista ![]() Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself. |
