" Twisted words seeking to hide thy intent let us do battle 'hind enemy lines , ceaseless your prattle , for sword I have sent fight now , or flee , the decision is thine ." " Nay , M'lord Moose , it is thee hides the truth , most surely thou see raw deceit in thy pen ." " You call us to battle , maligned , when forsooth in temple you worship us time and again ." " Enough of this bickering foolishness , knaves , for one to the other you both are enslaved ." "'Tis mine to devine how this warfare shall cease or suffer the consequence , go now in peace !" " Let it be known from this day forth a truce shall hence exist twixt all words and Sir Moose " |

Very interesting write. I'd like to know why you changed from the old form of "thou" to the current form of "you" toward the end ![]() |

catalinamoon , Thanks , a continuation of a topic I've written of before . At times the words line up like obedient soldiers , at other times they seem to fight every step of the way . I thought perhaps if I called a truce they might be more co-operative . Doc Interloper , It wasn't a concious decision , but writing from three different perspectives , I guess these things happen . Doc Denise , Thank you , again . Don't we all have these voices in conflict ? Some louder than others ? Sorting them out can at times be a real pain , other times it passes as poetry . Doc |
