Drifting there is a ship that rocks on foam drifting in darkness lost in it’s way disoriented I plea to shine me home as the wind strips my sails to fray I yield beneath the black velvet curtain great northern star where should I go for only in your direction am I certain unblind these eyes as you show salted spray floods my eyes fear is my newest best friend an angry ocean silences my cries pulled by a storm that just won’t end I scream for grace from sky and sea a squall to return back to calm release this force that rages me northern star I rest my path in your palm "...the rest is silence" (Hamlet) Shakespeare |
