The Kiss...(a sonnet) Today I spied the lips of Goddess Red So deep and full with want my mind gone mad The hours I could but swim within their bed And dare the gods to say that I not have! The living night has gifts n'er seen before This mouth has sought the goddess of the wind Who's full embodied lips not one ignores And I confess to crave this taste of sin Is sacrifice to be the bane I pay This mortal heart is weak inside of this To raise my sword today within the fray The madness I now live to have her kiss Is love not blind and reckless to the core, This answer I will get and maybe more. I would say your conclusion is correct, and sweetly so. This is beautiful. Love has many masks. I am but one of them. |

So deep and full with want my mind gone mad The hours I could but swim within their bed And dare the gods to say that I not have!" You sound like a man who gets what he desires And by the comments I've read here and from other poems of yours, I bet there's plenty of women here who would love to possess those Goddess red lips! Very sensual write here Parker may you find your answers Hugs, ~Krista Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself. |

I wish to worship this gift from your pen ... tell me its not too late to build you pedestals I must have been weak from swooning and couldnt reply ... if I beg on bended knee might I still inhale thy rhymes divine???? "The living night has gifts n'er seen before This mouth has sought the goddess of the wind Who's full embodied lips not one ignores And I confess to crave this taste of sin Is sacrifice to be the bane I pay This mortal heart is weak inside of this To raise my sword today within the fray The madness I now live to have her kiss" ==================================== Well you know I love your sonnets and the vocab in this is as fab as the cadence and I know you keep telling me green tea and ginsing... but this one calls for rasberry baby... lots of rasberries Sin away my sonnet king........ and yeah...this one would have been perfect to recite...
