We danced under shadowed moon
the song of the wild our only music
I swayed in your arms and breathed your soul
drawing you into me
deeper...
and deeper still with every breath
Until we melted into the shadows,
together
At one with each other,
at one with the night

Tara, this is a very good beginning. . .

tell me more about the shadows. . . how they twist and move. . . become one. . . lost in the music of nature. . .

can't wait to see it. . .

Tara, nice beginning! I agree with Sven, more about the shadows, feelings together as one, drifting where?

I can hardly wait too!   ~hugs~

Tara~
This is just lovely~
It feels sort of complete to me ...
But, it's your dance ... let it take you where it will~

I agree. Keep moving along with it. It is beautiful so far. Love like that is superb.

Nicely crafted...beautiful imagery. That first part "feels" like a complete stanza; I'd life to see a few more stanzas with the same form that build upon the ideas of shadows/darkness and bonding/becoming one. Good writing.... more...more

The picture couldn't be more perfect...as far as continuing, if your heart rambles, follow it.
