standing on a shadow's lace

I Shall Write

I shall write you
on the pages of my heart
onion skinned parchment layered
on the weakest part
what flows from my pen
will be the darkest of ink
so from page to page
they all shall link
a collage of a heart
the hurt and the healed
glued in seams torn
now to be sealed
letters become words
within the compose
as I write
something permanent flows
