It seems as though, I never fit in No matter what I do, I can't win I will never be as good as you I'm always trying something new Still it is never good enough That's ok, I've become real tough It seems as if, it takes too long Just for me to find a place to belong As a child, I learned not to even try And, I wasn't about to give in and cry It never did me any good. anyway But, do not worry, that's okay I've become real use to being alone I know, there is no place I belong © By Sue 10/8/01 |

I'd call this a sad one. But I hope there is a place where we all fit in. One of those places is likely here. SmartChick, thanks. Sin isn't fair, but God got even, grace isn't fair either. larry c |

I agree with Larry, I think this is probably one of those places. Nice, heartfelt poem. |

Ditto. This is a good place for a gypsy soul to find a little shelter. |

You belong....to you! And we are just happy you share with us. I know a little bit about the Gypsy thing. I was always the new girl. 13 different schools. Moved 22 times. Be yourself as you belong anywhere you like. And we like you. For we enjoy your acceptance too. Hugs! Sincerely, Regina |

Wonderfully expressive ... I remember all too well feeling this way so many years ago myself Smartchick. The advice above is wise and true ... being ourselves allows us to find our niche in life eventually, and sharing these emotions through writing helps us to find just who "we" are ... nicely done. Best wishes, /Kit |

echoing the thoughts above. . . you must be true to yourself. . . for you are your own knower. . . well done. . . --------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
