Memories of the good times have all faded away It’s been nearly eight years ago, since we first met I tried to comply to your every wish, each day My feelings and needs you always seem to forget You lost nothing, but I lost everything I had Many times I wish that we had never even met Nearly eight years I have given my life to you But, you don’t even seem to care about that Everything I ever did was always just for you You made so many promises to me, you see Not even one of those promise did you keep Now, all I want is for you to just leave me be Because now it is so clear for me to see Promises to me you weren’t going to keep It’s over now between you and me © By Sue 8/15/01 |

*sigh* my heart bleeds for you, dear one. I know all about broken promises and how hard we try to do our best hoping that our love will make it all work our when it takes two to make a relationship work. I pray your heart is filled soon by someone willing to keep their promises to you. You have written you hurt and sense of loss perfectly. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |
