I have many faults Yet You do not sit upon the lines Measuring the tremble And run screaming in warning I have many ghosts That haunt my sleep My wide awake, and You send them Away, emitting your reality And your acceptance Holding the Entities at bay I have many ways That most question and find unnerving You see through the veil And call me beautiful Calling me by my name As if you knew it all of your life. I do many things That seem to be left unfinished You see that the resting place Is where I look to you And you don't take control You stare at my ability As if it is whole, believing in me I have done many things wrong Where others would sentence me And send me to the gallows You burn the scaffold down And reprieve me of my self I have deserved many things Both good and bad However I never thought imaginable That any deed Would ever bring me You I have learned to never question A good thing For You to change your mind Would be the end of Our story The pages will yellow The cover will be worn For every word will always be new To me.
