An attempt at summing up the worlds greatest love story. Her photo drew him in, before he ever knew the scope of loving felt, nor how to make it true. In searching for advice, he came upon a plan his dream, to conquer time, reverse hourglass sand. He woke in her hotel, to find love born of fate "Is it you?" she exclaimed, "the one for whom I wait?" "Yes my love it is I, come through portals of time traveled so many years, your true spirit to find". As she clung to his arm, they walked down to the lake she could not deny him, though her heart would soon break. They planned for a love to caress them throughout time until it was shattered at the turn of a dime. Abruptly he spun forward, back to his own year leaving behind his true love, all that he held dear. His shock was so great, he had to lay down and die to reunite with Elise, in heavenly sky. I wish Cliff's Notes were this beautifully written when I needed to cram Shakespeare, way-back-when... -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." --Del Casher [This message has been edited by MARK V SHELDON (edited 07-22-2001).] |

Sandra, This is pure magic. No one could have written a more enchanting tribute to a film that has touched so many. You've delved into the quintessetial essence of what this story truly represents. I really loved this. This will go in my "Time Travel Romance" library for all time... Love, "Elise" |

I would say my friend. . . that you have done the story well. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
