Evergreen

I dreamt Sol arose as a rose, red,
sans a stem, in the sky to shed
fragrant rays, and romantic fays
of timeless touch and timeless tread
with faiths as chaste as winter is cold
in loves as bright as summer is gold,
snow would not melt and would not mould,
but was sugar always on the wold,
and rays would not sink and would not shrink
but always more would the more unfold.
deep inside each coldest spot
was a place that was most hot
in between the land stayed evergreen
in springtide surge and springtide sheen

Honour stayed fixed in deed and word
thus truth and nature were secured
love and passion stayed renewed
truth and nature were their food.
