 This was written when my oldest daughter Stevie asked me to write about her teddy bear..this is what I came up with! TEDDY BEAR Teddy bear Teddy bear You’re my best friend You hear all my thoughts You're here till the end Teddy bear Teddy bear Hold on to my dreams Keep them safe with you And with you they'll keep Teddy bear Teddy Bear Your friendship won't cease There's no finer friend You bring me such peace Teddy bear Teddy bear You're falling apart I've had you so long You are in my heart Teddy bear Teddy bear You can't leave me What would I do? This would make a wonderful gift of an answer to any child and I know that when it comes from the heart of a parent for their own child it will forever hold special meaning and purpose. Well done and a beautiful night-time poem to send the little ones to bed with. |

Teddy bear is stuffed with love and memories of the fun and laughter we shared, days ago, years ago, when I was small, and now I stand tall, I grew, but teddy stayed the same She's still brown and still has plaid paws - natures laws keep her still as I grow. Mark, She asks me to read it to her often!  Thanks for readingCindi Sandra This was really fun to do since it is not the type of poetry I used to write....I like being challenged by my children to write...makes it lots of fun...thanks for reading Cindi Vas I do plan to print a nice copy of it and put it in her baby book for when she gets older Thanks for reading.... *sobs* My teddy bear fell apart because my mum never fixed it. Please dont do that to your daughter. It hurts so bad to have that happen to you. Thank you so much for posting this poem. |
